The CJ begins ✨
Hello lovely people!
When I wrote to you last month, I mentioned the power of intention setting - and how just as important as that is taking moments to reflect on our intentions and see how well they are working for us and within our lives.
One of my own intentions for the year is to write more. I absolutely love writing, and now it’s time to put my intention in motion on this digital page as it were.
I’ve been writing a lot, as on the last day of January I started The Artist’s Way, which is a book by Julia Cameron which acts as a blueprint for discovering and recovering your Creative Self. (More on the big S in self in another CJ, that’s a topic for another time.)
However, part of my intention was to share my writing. When I was reading the Diary of a CEO earlier this year, he mentioned the importance of sharing what we say we’ll do with others (for accountability) and sharing what we know as a means to learn more and become better at what we do. And when we say it out loud - it all kind of makes sense doesn’t it.
So this is the start of my fortnightly writing to you. We’ll call it the Clarity Journal. As words, to me, are a way of making sense of the world around me, understanding my experiences and emotions, and also as a way of connecting to you and starting to open up a conversation around the practices that have led me to where I am now.
So welcome to the Clarity Journal ✨ I hope it brings some form of clarity and insight to you, as it does for me 🙏🏼
Before I go, a couple of questions for you - to ponder or reply to.
What intention did you set for the year that you have been sticking to?
𖤓 How has that experience been for you? What, if any, impact has it had on your life?
𖤓 Are there any that you haven’t stuck to?
𖤓 If yes, is there a way that you can modify that intention to work better for you?
As always, I am here to support you in whatever way I can - feel free to send me an email to hello@patiencescarles.com. Thank you for being a part of this community - I am so grateful to each and every one of you.
Looking forward to hearing from you - or to seeing you at a hike or in a session soon! 🧡
Warmest,
Patience
